Position: Administrative Assistant
Education: Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration
| Answer phone calls, provide information to callers, take messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate
individuals. Create, maintain, and input information into each child’s database. Utilize computers for various applications, such as managing government grants, database management, or word processing. Operate office equipment such as fax machines, photocopiers, or phone systems, and coordinate repairs when equipment malfunctions. Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, and maintaining documents such as teacher attendance records, correspondence, and other documents. materials. Schedule and confirm appointments for prospective parents and children. Maintain monthly schedules and calendars, and coordinate activities according to special dates. Draft and organize parent meetings. Prepare routine correspondence or reports, and generate monthly expense and cost reports. Complete forms in accordance with company procedures. Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence that requires a response. Conduct searches to find necessary information using sources such as the internet. Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail or other materials, and respond to routine letters. Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials. Request materials and supplies for each classroom. Collect and deposit money into the school’s account to pay bills and receipts. Collect scholarship funds for eligible children and collect tuition payments. Provide support to the school director as needed. Stay informed about DCF (Department of Children and Families) updates, including courses and hours for teachers. |
